Sweden's global water technology company Bluewater launches drive to provide access to clean water across Africa and banish need for single-use plastic bottles with a significant investment in South Africa. Bluewater is combining with I-Drop Water, South Africa's top clean water solutions company, which won the 2017 All Africa Business Leader Award for 'Innovator of the Year'.

Bluewater helped the Volvo Ocean Race save tens of thousands of single-use plastic bottles in the Cape Town Race Village during the December 2017 visit, turning undrinkable water into pure drinking water from crucial hydration stations.
