Golden oldies line up for a more sustainable Seniors Open Championship in Scotland

Bluewater water stations are on hand to keep golf fans properly and sustainably hydrated at the Senior Open Presented by Rolex this weekend at Gleneagles . It is the final major championship of the 2022 PGA TOUR Champions schedule and play is unfolding at the Gleneagles 6,790 yard King's Course, designed in 1919.

Players, staff and fans also have the opportunity to use Bluewater’s eye-catching and sustainable stainless steel bottles to help ensure that there is no need for the single-use plastic bottles that pose such a threat to the environment.

Bluewater stations are featuring at practically all major golf championships this year in Scotland from the Genesis Scottish open through the 150th Open and upcoming AIG Women's Open, saving tens of thousand of single-use plastic bottles from ending up in landfills and the oceans.

"We are deeply honored to have been chosen as a sustainability partner by so many golfing championships. It is a testament to how the golf as a sport is playing a key role in help to shape a more sustainable approach to saving the planet as the climate emergency continues to unfold," sad Dave Noble, Bluewater Event, PR and Communications Director.
