Boom! New Swedish swim record set at Glasgow European Aquatic Championships
Glasgow, Scotland, August 5, 2018 - A magnificent effort by Sweden's 4 x 200 meter male swim team competing in the finals at the European Championships here saw a 26-year old Swedish record smashed with a new time of 7.14.03. The team, which shaved a full second off the old time, included Bluewater-supported Swedish swimmer Adam Paulsson and team mates Victor Johansson, Robin Hanson and Gustav Dahlman.
The team now have their sights firmly set on the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, which Adam Paulsson has set as a top dream he's intent on fulfilling.
"It was a truly spectacular result even though the team came last in the final from such a young group of guys in a discipline that Sweden has not managed to compete in successfully since the late 1990s and it is a real honor for us at Bluewater to see them do so extremely well," said Bluewater President and Chief Strategy Officer Anders Jacobson.
