Sweden's global water technology company Bluewater launches drive to provide access to clean water across Africa and banish need for single-use plastic bottles with a significant investment in South Africa. Bluewater is combining with I-Drop Water, South Africa's top clean water solutions company, which won the 2017 All Africa Business Leader Award for 'Innovator of the Year'.

Bluewater will help avoid the use of around half-a-million throw-away plastic water bottles during the upcoming Volvo Ocean Race stop-over in Cape Town by providing four unique water stations using the company's patented state-of-the-art purification technology that will turn low quality water in clean drinking water for tens of thousands of visitors to the race village.
